I am using Moz 1.7.3 and Win 98SE. When I click on certain links to email a support site I get and error "can not find Outlook" on othere sites it brings up Mozilla e-mail composer- I do not use IE but have IE 6 installed. What do I put in the file type box 'URL:MailTo Protocol' so that Mozilla mail opens whether I am in Mozilla or IE , right now it is listed to open with Outlook, Mozilla mail is my default.
    Thanks

    quickshot,

I'm sure you have set Mozilla as the default Mail application? Have you also disabled the "Internet Explorer should check to see whether it is the default browser "? You might enable that setting and when IE asks, answer "No ".
    If no joy then:

The "Application used to perform action" in the 3rd Edit window should point to the Mozilla.exe file: C:\Program Files\mozilla.org\Mozilla or whatever the path is on your HD.

Let us know if you have further questions.
