lcd monitor lines & wavy

ok, so it's not exactly a computer for a monitor, but it's similar. i have an lcd monitor for a ps2. the picture has lines and is wavy. is there anyway to fix it myself? it's in really good cosmetic condition. hasn't been smashed or anything. don't know how it got that way, bought used. i don't want to resort to a repair shop, they always swindle you anymore. any suggestions are welcome.

this is not a monitor problem, it's the graphic card tht's giving u the problem.
if ur graphic card is under warranty, u can go change it. if not, u haf to get a new one so the problem will be solved.

 

is that exspensive? i only paid $1 for it, so i guess it really doesn't matter. but i was just wondering. thanks for your help.
