I have a problem with my emails. I did not have any message filter but the emails are automatically loaded into the local folder trash the moment they are downloaded. Why does this happen and how can I correct it.

    liphor,

Check your Junk Mail settings. Perhaps they have been set incorrectly:

I really don't understand what is going on. There must be something which cause the ISP account to send the mail to Local Folders. I don't understand why disabling Junk Controls for Local folders would do any good.

    good Question

You have ask a very good question but I do not know why. Any way after I have remove the tick for enable junk mail control my emails are back to the inbox for the time being. Maybe you could provide the answer as I am only a user and not a programmer.

I am not a programmer, at all. But, I still don't understand what the Local folders have to do with this. There is no incoming mail in the Local folders, under normal conditions. Now, if everything is enable, and the same ISP Spam folder is used, it could be because the Junk controls are not used to the settings, but will eventually get used to them. It is a nuisance to return all messages to the Inbox, but I have that (right on the header|move to Inbox).
I have had a persistent error only the very first time that I used the controls.

    Theory about the probllem

I think what happens is that I have disable the junk filter for my ISP account folder but not the local folder, and this resulted in the local junk filter becoming the default junk filter. This is just a wild guess but I could be very wrong.
