Cancelling FAX

    I use WIN-XP home's FAX app.

    Works fine except when I get a no answer. I cannot find a way to stop its trying to resend and it continues and is always interupting a voice call with those beeps dialing.

    How can a FAX call be cancelled? :(

    That feature is somewhat buried in XP. Go to Start > Printers and faxes > right-click on Fax > click Properties > click Devices tab . Click Properties button > click Send tab > set number of Retries > OK out.

    I think zero is a nice number. ;)
