Under...Tools>Internet Options...Under the Temporary Internet Files section click on Settings then click View Objects. I have one listed as {9F1C11AA-197B-4942-BA54-47A8489BB47F} and states it is damaged. How can I replace or repair it?

Just remove it and it will be reinstalled the next time you visit Windows Update. You may also want to unregister iuctl.dll and delete it.

    Start » Run:
    regsvr32 /u iuctl.dll

    Thanks.

First I deleted the object. When I try to do the uninstall as you have it... regsvr32 /u iuctl.dll... I get the following message: LoadLibrary ( "iuctl.dll ") failed - the specified module could not be found.

P.S. I went to Windows Update, even downloaded the latest fix for SP2. I then checked to see if the object was back, it's not there.

Then I wouldn't worry about it. It may have been a leftover ActiveX object from a previous version of the Windows Update software, especially if iuctl.dll is gone. Or it may be for specialized updates through the catalog rather than the usual channels.

In any case, these things wil come back if needed and the installation window will ask if you want it back.
