I am working on a Win98 system that is running a required DOS program. When starting the DOS program inside Win98 the system reboots to DOS. The program was running inside Win and could be toggled between desktop and the DOS window. Would like to know if there is a way to restore the program back to running in Win

Hi, Instead of loading the DOS file directly, right click it and choose to
create a shortcut (.pif file). Then right click this .pif file to select the
properties/environment in which it should execute.
Save and run the .pif file.
    regards

Or, if you're already using a shortcut to start the program, right click on it and look for the setting merlin mentioned. Somewhere in there there's an option to boot to Dos or run it in a window.
