Question about Setting up MAPI in Netscape 7.0

Hi,

I cannot find any information on the Net about setting up MAPI in Netscape 7.0. I've found information about MAPI setup for old version 4.7 but those steps do not apply to the new version anymore.

Does it support MAPI? I can't even find that info on Netscape's site!

Can anyone help me out?

Hi Jessie,

Yes, Netscape 7.2 does support MAPI. I am able to access my Webmail account with myrealbox.com in 7.2 Mail & Newsgroups Accounts. Once you have the Incoming and Outgoing information, it's set up like very much like a POP account.

Open Mail & Newsgroups
Click on Edit | Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings
Select: Add Account

In Step 3. on the above page, select MAPI, then enter the appropriate incoming and SMTP information and you're set.
