Whe I try to open (my computer) my screen go's black then I get the blue screen with the following--> An exception 0E occurred at 0028:161572a in VxD cdvsd(01)+. This was called from 0028: C1614561 in VxD CDVSD (01) + 00000b31.
It may be possible to continue normally

    From Planesdowne's link:
I understand that this is happening when you open My Computer, and not at startup as the page suggests. However, at this time your CD drives are read when you do this. Your Cdvsd.vxd file needs to be updated or is corrupted, this file is used for the CD drives..

Two possible solutions is to either use the System File Checker [sfc.exe] to replace that file located in c:\windows\system\iosys, or upgrade to 98 SE.
