    Win xp home edition

    Can some help me to take Microsoft windows messanger 4.7 off my HP computer it keeps poping up on me and I don't want it . I tryed a few commands to remove it but they didn't work, just bought the notebook yesterday and its on the new computer .

    Have you tried going to the Run... command on the start menu and typing in the following:

    (From Windows-Help.net)
    Code:
    RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove

    Thank you for the quick reply yes I'm sure its off I was running this command but why it wasn't working I wasn 't adding all the space's I went in safe mode and put command in and put space's where it look like space's on the command you posted and I seen something flash and was delete so I'm sure thats what happen.
