New Drive created and Using MS dos Drivers

I am hoping someone can help me. I recently got cable modem, and had to have the cable company come and install a Ethernet card and get my modem working. Anway, I now notice that my camera which I have had on my computer for over a year was recently assigned to Drive F and using Ms dos drivers. Where did this come from and how can I fix it? My camera will not work at all now. If anyone can help please feel free to e-mail me at removed as I don't know if I will remember to find this site again.
