    Hello,

I dont know if this should go in hardware or windows but i need some software that will tell me my CPU temperature in windows.

I already know how to do it in the bios, its just that i need to know how the CPU is in the windows environment when it is idle and when it is on full load.

    So thanks.

Hi MOBO, here's another one: "Motherboard Monitor ", runs in the system tray so you can constantly see the CPU temps. Download from Here MBM5

Aida32 does that and a lot more. It's still available as freeware but not for long.

Everest (The link Christer posted) is the updated version of AIDA32, and is a bit more comprehensive. AIDA is not supported anymore.

MOBO, I use Motherboard Monitor-the link JohnB posted- it's free, easy to configure and tells you at a glance if you have a temp problem. I have mine set to refresh every 10 seconds. You can also set it to sound an alarm, shut down the comp, or send you an email if a certain temp is reached. By clicking on the settings, you can also view your fan speeds, voltage readings, and Mobo Monitor will keep a log for you, if you choose.

Right now CPU temp is 71 and case temp 89 (that's F for all you metric folks!)
