Can't change colors

    I'm running Windows 98 on a HP Compaq Preario. My colors are stuck on 16. When I change to 256, I'm prompted to restart. When the machine restarts, it's right back to 16 colors. After I change colors, I click apply, but no use. Thanks for the help.

    You need to install your video drivers. Do you know what card you have?
