Two bugs were discovered by http-equiv according to Secunia, that could compromise systems by insufficient validation of drag and drop events, and related to a security zone restriction error. Secunia describes these bugs as "highly critical ", and said they have been confirmed as existing in a system using IE 6 and Windows XP SP2.

    Secunia Advisories

Now, if you configured your SP2 IE6 as I outlined in How to surf the Internet more safely with Internet Explorer (Windows XP Service Pack 2 version) , you are already "protected" from these "bugs" for normal Web browsing... :)

How to surf the internet more safely...............

I have found more help from this site in the few days since I found your site, than I've ever gotten from Microsoft. I aquired my computer in February of 2002. Since that time, I have added 150 "updates ", "fixes ", whatever, that Microsoft tells me I need. My programs are still not working to full capacity!
Thanks to this site, I am on my way, almost, to having a fully functional computer!
My one complaint (today), is that when I go to MIcrosoft, for anything, I have to "undo" a majority of the secure settings advised by your "...surf the internet more safely..." Then, when I leave, reset all the "unsets" I have configured. I wish Microsoft's right hand knew what the left hand was doing!
The gist of this note is to say THANK YOU! I most sincerely appreciate the service you offer!
    Sincerely,
    mmm

That's easily overcome by adding Microsoft to the Trusted sites zone using the method I give.
