Check it out...You can now delete bookmarks without going to "Manage Bookmarks"

However, no matter what I do, I cannot make another theme work and also spellbound puts the abc with checkmark on my toolbar but it doesn't work. When I go to customize, the abc colors up but that's the extent of it.

I Used the .zip file and installed it on my D:\ drive if that makes a difference.

    Bill,

Isn't it incredibly convenient to be able to not only delete the Bookmarks, but copy, open, etc, without having to go thru the Manager?

Have you checked out the rough changelog for Firefox: http://www.mozilla.org/projects/firefox/qa/changelog-rc1.html

I saw this comment from one of the developer at Moz.org:
Most extensions probably are compatible with the upcoming version of Firefox, only they weren't allowed to be marked as such when released on update.mozilla.org (of 1.0PR). The reasoning behind this is you can't know an extension will be compatible with a version of Firefox which doesn't yet exist.

Have a look at the extension-authors websites, that's were you'll find an update first. (Or if you know how, edit the .xpi file and re-install it.)

I'm using Spellbound with no problems? What you might do is use the right click context menu rather than clicking on the Toolbar icon. I've always used the context menu and have never bothered with the icon.

Having Mozilla on your D: drive shouldn't make a difference...
