I have tried several spam blockers but all have created new problems in my e-mail. I use Outlook Express ( Windows XP). Is there a way to limit your incoming mail to only names in your address book?
If not has anyone found a really good filter for SPAM.

You can set up a rule that will do it. In OE click tools>message rules>mail. Click on the new button and in the first box put a check mark next to the line that says "where the from line contains people ". Then, in the second box put a check mark next to the either the line that says delete it or delete it from server. I haven't tried this rule myself so I would suggest that you first use "delete it" to make sure it works as you want it to. If something goes wrong you can always get the emails out of your trash if need be. If things work the way you want, you can always go back and edit the rule to "delete from server ". Now, in the bottom box, there should be a link you can click on that says "contains people ". Click on it and in the window that opens click on the address book button. Now click on the top name in the list so it's highlighted, scroll to the bottom of the list and while holding down the shift key, click on the last name in the list. This should highlight all names in the list. Once they're all highlighted, click on the "from" button and then click OK. Now click the options button and where it says "apply rule if ", tick the line that says "message does not contain the people below ". Click OK and then OK again. Now you should be able to read the rule in the bottom box. If it's what you want, OK you're way out and you should be set.
