    Hi
I am giving my old computer to my grandson for playing games on. I had 3 games installed which he has been playing. Today he tried to start one and a window came up....
    Sending components to SYSTEMDUMP.EXE
Can anyone tell me what that is, and any reason whay it would start doing that now?
The games have been on there for sometime without a problem.
    Thanks
    Geri

Geri, I am a bit confused here.
You posted a thread on the 98 Board and down at the bottom of your
thread you add "Win XP Home "
What OS are you and the grandson running ?
    regards
PS Are you sure that is the correct message he got ?

    Hi merlin
The computer that gave the message is a windows 98 OS.

The computer that I am using now has XP OS. This is my new computer. the other one I am giving to my grandson, with the windows 98 OS.

Yes that was the message it gave. The games would not play after that. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the games and so far they are working??

I tried to find systemdump.exe on the windows 98 web site and nothing comes up, and I tried the "find folder and files" Nothing comes up.

If it happens again I will make sure that was the message, But it happened two times and I'm sure I read it correctly.
