EZ trust... Ramona???

Does anyone use CA's EZ trust antivirus and do you know whether or not it will scan Netscape's mail (7.2)?

 

I use eTrust and yeah it'll scan all incoming email.

 

I use EZ Trust and I do not use Outlook Express. I use Thunderbird for email. EZ Trust does not add text to your emails saying it has been protected like AVG does. As a matter of fact, EZ Trust AV does not mention email.

What it does do, however, is check every file (by options) opened or closed on your computer which, of course, includes emails.

I have the 1 year free trial and am very satisfied with it.

 

I sounds good. I read the .pdf file on their website, and, if I understand correctly it checks the message before it comes in, so there is no reason to select a particular Mail client. None of the other major AV seem to have figured out how to do it. Norton, seems like it allows the e-mail to be downloaded, and then quarantines the entire e-mail Inbox. Scary!

 

I have used eTrust EZ antivirus 6.1.7.0 and have got along fine with it[it has no email scanner] I upgraded to 6.3 with real time email scanning and had trouble getting my emails and had to install some new files they sent me [Isafe] and now they have a newer version but are having trouble with it also, you might wait a bit. After reading the problems people are experiencing with version 7, I think I'll hold off a bit. Thanks for the link.
