I installed in Win2K Professional. I then Updated from the website.

What files or directories can I now delete to reclaim disk space.

    Thanks

You can delete the Windows Update Setup Files directory found on your C: drive.

If you're poking around your system, I'd leave the C:\Winnt\$NtUninstallQ######$ directories alone. You never know when you might need to uninstall one of these QHotFixes if one is found out to be buggy.

The main reason I ask is because:

The whole disk went right after install was at about 750MB. Then after the Service Pack update it mushroomed to 1.1gigs.

I found \winnt\ServicePackFiles which has 157MB in it.

I would think that upon a service pack install that the amount of files would only increase a small amout.

Oh, well. Still looking for stuff to delete.

    Thanks.
