Thanks for the links guys...I have already installed a couple items and am trying them out...

 

Well...

So far I've only install the 3M Post-IT and the MS USB Flash Drive Manager. Both proggies work quite well and have not interferred with my PC in any way so far.

The 3M Post-IT is very similar to another "post-it" program that I used to run a few years ago but I can't remember the name. The USB manager works quite well (pic below)and has quite a few options. I've just started testing it and will post back more info later.

I will try a couple more later as I'm interested in the MS Time Zone and Desktop Media Gallery. I'll post back

I won't be installing the google desktop cause my browser (Avant .. Which I Strongly Recommend !!) allready has built in google searching support..

Whats the deal with the MS Time Zone?

I won't be using the Google Deskbar myself as I have used a feature of TweakUI and/or X-Setup Pro where I only type a shortcut in browser address bar and what I want to search for...ie: goo (short for Google) WindowsBBS. Check out post #6 => http://www.windowsbbs.com/showthread.php?t=34490.

I have not installed the MS Time Zone Utility but for more info => http://www.microsoft.com/globaldev/outreach/dnloads/timezone.mspx

 

It looks like most of these programs require Net Framework 1.1.

There were a few of us who were looking for a list of program's that require it.
