I have a Toshiba Satellite 2805-S402 model laptop. I was running ME off of it and got fed up with ME and decided to give 2000 a whirl. I got the OS, drivers, and everything updated, and I've been trying to configure everything to my liking.

Previously, I used an external monitor. In ME, you can enable a second monitor and position it however you like, in whatever relation to the primary monitor you like, and with different resolution settings if desired.

In 2000, with twin view, it stretches your desktop out across the two monitors as if it were only one monitor. If you maximize a window, it covers both screens rather than one monitor as was the case with ME. The taskbar is also stretched across both screens. And there appears to be no way to re-orient the monitors to reflect how they are physically arranged in my computer setup.

Is there a way to configure two monitors in 2000 to behave in the same way as they would in ME?

    Thanks in advance.

Where exactly is this "extend" option located?

So I've come to find out that I have no "extend desktop option ", nor do I have an "Identify" option.

Try updating your video card drives.
