I have Windows XP Pro and up until recently my MSN would automatically sign in when I logged on. It is set to sign in at start-up but for some odd reason lately it won't sign in. I have to press the sign in box and fill in my passport name and password each time even though I tick off to remember my passport and sign me in automatically.

I'm wondering if something in my internet settings needs to be adjusted. I didn't change anything but then again I think we all know that computers seem to have a mind of their own. They work fine and then out of the blue something comes up.

Has anyone ever had this and might have any suggestions?

    Thanks.

Hi Anne, don't know what version of IE you have and I don't use MSN but in my IE5.5 there is a setting under Tools>Internet Options>Security Tab>Highlight the "Internet" globe at the top then click on Custom Level, scroll down to "User Authentification>Logon" and see what "radio button" is or isn't checked. I have mine set to "Automatic Logon with current username and password ". Try different settings and see if one makes a difference. Ok your way out each time and see if you can log on to MSN automatically. Make sure you note the original setting so you can go back to it if unsuccessful in solving your problem.
