Hi "¦ I have a retail version of XP Pro and I have SP2 downloaded onto my hard drive , My question is can I add the 2 onto a blank disc so I don’t need to visit Microsoft update site everytime I need to reinstall my windows ??? I would just love to have it all onto one disc , Can it be done ?? I have Nero Ultra 6 and I also have Plextor DVD+/- R/RW CD-R/RW "¦ Please if there is a simple easy way of doing so for a novice user like myself , I would be greatly appreciated "¦ Thanks

    Hi
I think your best bet is to copy the Sp2 file to CD-R rom (because its cheaper than DVD rom). Do nothing with your retail Windows XP, just keep them together in a safe place until needed.

    Good luck

I followed the slipstreaming tutorial but Nero keeps getting an "Internal Error" when I'm copying the files to the new compilation window. I'm using Nero 6.0.0.0.

This is probably not the cause of your problem? BUT I'd suggest an upgrade from 6.0.0.0. Being the first public release of Nero 6.x, it had a lot of bugs ironed out in later updates, and there have been a couple of dozen of those!Your licence should enable you to upgrade to a later version. But you will need to check how far. visit http://www.nero.com/en/nero-up.php.
