I installed SP2 - no real problems but
I turned off the firewall in the security panel because i'm using zone alarm.
Every time i boot up, the msg will popup telling me that my pc is open for
    problems (para-phrasing here).

Is there a way to disable that msg so i dont see itevery time i turn the PC
    on??

    thank you,
    savagcl

Open the security center and on the left hand side click on change the way Security Center alerts me. In the window that opens, uncheck the box next to firewall.

    SP2 Firewall popup?

Never mind - I found this in another post. I don't have SP-2 myself - so I don't see it. A friend can't get his media players updated - nor can he load new programs, after installing SP-2.

I read too many complaints to install it myself - maybe later - after the bugs are worked out.
