What CPU's can i use with A7V333?

I Have an ASUS A7V333 with a 2GHz AMD XP processor and 256MB ram.

Im looking to upgrade to a faster CPU and more RAM, what CPU's can i use. I see the MB will do 266MHZ and i want to take advantage of this... unless i am with a clock of 133? Is this doubled up to the 266FSB?

Anyway... what CPU can i put in it.

Use the following to fin out what CPU your board supports. You will need to check somewhere on the board as to what revision number your board is (1.01, 2.00) as to which CPU it supports. Accordingly you will probably have to update your BIOS as well.

At the above page you need to enter your board type (A7V333) into the search for supported CPU's.

 

Looks like with Bios updates it go all the way to a Athlon 3000 (333 FSB)

Thanks for that, i knew asus had that thing on the web page but i couldnt find it!

Im a Rev. 1.01 so i dont think ill change for the sake of 200 or so Mhz, will wait till 64's become a bit cheeper - thats my next move. Or go for a multi CPU opteron system!!! That wd get things done!

Ill make just get more RAM, that will make more of a diffirence, only got 256PC2100, may upgrade to 512 or 1GB!!!
