XP Reactivation

    I bought a used Dell PC that had XP, but came with ME from Dell. I turned off my computer tonight, and rebooted about an hour later, and i got the "Significant Hardware Change" ****. I have only the 1st name of the old owner, and don't know the address or anything (I do know the City). Can I reactivate with my information, or does it have to match the old info? PLEASE HELP! QUICKLY!!!

    Sounds almost identical to the problem my girlfriend had up until 20 minutes ago....

    All I did was reactivated windows, but did not register it (because we didn't have the other persons complete info.

    It activated no problem (we did it online), hope this helps...
