The inability (apparent) to search bookmarks and delete multiple entries from the search results seems to be a glaring omission from 7.1. Likewise, the apparent inability to tell where a found item is located in the bookmarks is a bummer. Finally, the general inability to find and delete deadlinks and multiple bookmarks is poor. Or is it just me?

I think you should make a suggestion to the Mozilla.org for this feature.

no, the bookmark organising is not in the priority of coding a web browser.

    rong103,

There is a way to see where the Bookmark is filed, but it is very, very, time consuming if you have a large Bookmarks file, and may not be worth the effort.

    1. Open Bookmarks Manager and expand all folders

    2. Perform your search

    3. When results are found, highlight the top results, but do not open

    4. Clear the search field - full bookmarks are displayed

    5. The selected corresponding Search entry will be at the bottom of the
display highlighted with a light blue-gray background.

Repeat above steps, selecting another Search results entry

Tested on Windows 98SE Only - Modern theme
