OCR Software.

For all the experts out there, which is the best OCR Software?

Every Company I have researched claims that ^their's^ is best, and I may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but I am beginning to suspect that they could not all be right.

 

Can't say it is the best but I have been using a older version of textbridge. The program works well on what I used it on. http://www.scansoft.com/textbridge/ Just wanted to add if you are going to be doing forms, I use Form Pilot Home program for that. http://www.colorpilot.com/products.html

 

Textbridge is excellent. To some extent, it depends on how accurate a scan is needed and how often you use it versus how much you want to pay. Most scanners come with "adequate" OCR software.

 

Omnipage Pro 14 from Scansoft is brilliant.
