Don't know if this is a O/S problem or not but here are the symtoms:
Computer: H-P Pavillion 532W, Win:O/S XP-sp2 but problem was same with sp-1. Problem: control/alt/delete brings up :cpu-usage window instead of "task-manager window ". Don't have the slightest idea how to change back to default window-task-manager....Den..................

    Hello Den,

An alternative way to bring up TM:

Ctl - Shift - Esc Does that work?

If you double click in the border area of the screen you are getting, the default window will return. Actually, you can double click just about anywhere on the Task manager screen and toggle it from single screen view to default screen with tabs.

    Hello Den,

Let's be clear on this, is your complaint that's its the defualt or is that the only tab that works?
