When starting windows 98 s/e. I get this message; (error: can not install service vectors - windows will now restart) Then system will boot as normal and works just fine. From what I can tell as of now, this problem is more annoying then any thing else. I have search google and found a thread on Annoyence.org, but wasnt much help on solving this problem.

    I run a P3,1000mhz processor, w/512mb ram, 2hdd, hdd, 0-C:/30gb Maxtor
hdd 1-40 gb WD. D:/ 2gb swap- E:/38gb storage. Anti-virus / firewall software both up to date. scanned for spyware and found none........
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Do you have a Creative sound card? If so, have a look at this thread from the Google groups. It may be the answer. Click
