Just loaded XP Media Center onto my laptop.

I have two profiles: Administrator and my own personal user profile.

My problem is, when I start the computer, XP is automatically loading my Admin profile and settings. It completely skips over the "blue screen" where you should be able to choose a particular profile to load.

Is there an "option" to fix this? Or is this a glitch?

Not sure if it matters, but I have also recently and successfully downloaded and installed SP2.

Thanks for any and all help.

    There is an option...

Two things you can do the first will most likely fix the problem...
    1. open control panel->users accounts->change the way users log on or off check the box for "use the welcome screen ". if it is already checked try this
    2. Start --> All Programs --> Accessories --> Comand Prompt --> Type in "Control userpasswords2" without the quotes, make sure the box is checked for "users must enter a username and password to use this computer"
Hopefully one of these settings will help, goodluck

    Thanks!

    Thank you very much. :D

Though it was a small annoyance to logoff then logon again, it was definitely beginning to irk me.

Thanks for the help. Option 2 worked like a charm.
