When you go to Display Properties the to the Appearance Tab then click Desktop under Item: you can change the colour of the desktop and the colour in the text boxes below each shortcut on your desktop. But is it physically possible to make that colour transparent, like Windows XP? If so, how do I make it transparent?
But if it is not possible to change the colour to transparent is there a piece of software or tool that will do the job for me?

    Thanx Carson :)
