floppy drive not seen by windows

    a & b drives are not found in my computer. Device manger show that drivers work ok , in dos have no problem with drives, cables are connected and working . my bios are ok . why doesn't windows see them?

    Do you have powertoys "Tweakui "? If so open it and in the category "My Computer "> "Drives ", make sure all your drives have a check in them. (assuming your using the version for xp)

    If not: (prerequisite: must have updated to at least xp sp1 to use xp's version)

    Clarafication please:
    Do you indeed have two floppy drives, and do they function reguardless of being shown in "device manager "?
