Could someone please help me with spyware? Norton Antivirus has detected loads of spyware imbedded in files in my "local settings/temp" directory, but is unable to remove them. Is there anything in the "temp" directory that CAN'T be deleted? My computer would be significantly cleaner with all that stuff gone, but I'm not sure if there's anything "valuable" in there that I need to save.
Thanks for any assistance you can offer.

The files in the C:\Documents and Settings\Your User Name\Local Settings\Temp can be deleted. They were left behind from various programs and installations.

They will require cleaning out from time to time. Any that won't delete are probably in use and should be able to be deleted after a next reboot.
