    Hi scott

Are you running Symantec software (2002)? If so then the issue lies with a component of the software. You can read more details and see if you have to update the file on Symantec's Knowledge Base

    Windows NT, 2000, XP:
    Symredir.dll
    Symdns.sys
    Symfw.sys
    Symndis.sys
    Symredrv.sys
    Symtdi.sys
    SymRedir.cat
    SymRedir.inf

If you have the most recent version, you may also have these files:

    Symids.sys
    Symidsco.sys
