    Thanks tranquilo.

This is good. The engineers are ahead of schedule, and it could mean a 1.0 Final Release before Christmas.

Thanks! It seems to do the trick.

Now this is an old gripe of mine, but there still seems to be compatability probs with cascading style sheets, frames, etc. Latest version doesn't display some images and or tables correctly. Maybe I have to do a clean install, i.e. remove Mozilla, NS, and then try Mozilla again. I guess there never will be 100% compatability and pages displayed in IE will never appear the same in NS and vice versa. Who's to blame.....that I would like to know :p

Moz. 9.9 worked great. Clean install of 1.0, not. Error code "can't find starting point ". So I'll stick with 9.9 for now.

    Dr. JB,

Blame the web authors who use proprietary IE codes/tags, then complain like heck to them that their pages are not W3C compatible.

Thanks a lot my friend  I guess I would fall in that group, as I'm using FrontPage 2002 to design my site. Unfortunately, due to the fact that the majority of web users use IE, I have to design my site to be viewed only with IE. To create dual pages is just too much work and complicated, especially if the site contains over 800 pages!

A simple example....maybe I shouldn't, as you'll only complain like heck :) Ok, compare the following url in both browsers.

    http://www.frombrooklyntola.com/news/newsframe.htm

You'll see that in IE the bottom frame has a nice grey border with the textured backgound inside it. In NS...well, the border is all wrong :(

I don't even wanna think when it comes to Opera, etc! Oh well, guess can't have it all.

    Hey Dr.JB,

Actually, your page worked best in Opera 6.01! There was no sound file, however.

So you are using Opera? Ok, maybe you can do me a favor and check this out. The previous example did not include the sound frame, so here is a full page

    http://www.frombrooklyntola.com/brooklyn.htm

This page may take a little while to load, due to the flash movie containing the soundclip. Your thoughts would be appreciated. To everyone else, sorry....know I (we) are off-topic here :)
