WMP 10 problem

    When I upgraded to WMP 10, I no longer could play video files (specifically those on Adelphia's www.powerpoint.com Broadband). After trying lots of stuff, I had to RESTORE to before the upgrade. Then under WMP 9 the video files play fine.
    Has anyone else run into similar problem?

    Running:
    Win XP Pro SP2 on
    Pentium 4 2.4Ghz 512 SRAM 120 GB HD

    Try going to "tools - Options - file types ". Make sure that the file types you want to play are selected (have ticks in the box next to them). You should have done this when installing WMP10 but its amazing how many people miss this option screen if you keep clicking next.
