Internet Explorer Stuck In Italic Mode

Hi there,

i have exactly the same problem with the italic fonts

Changing anything under Internet Options doesn't work. Somehow, IE sees my Font for Plain Text (Courier New) as an Italic font. I am unable to change this Font into an Normal text font.

My web page font is Times new Roman and language script is set to Latin based.

any other suggestions anyone?
