For some reason, I can't seem to be able to create any new folders or files manually since I don't have a new option when I right-click on either the desktop or windows explorer. It also doesn't exist in the file menu in windows explorer either, as it used to. I don't know when this started, or by what, but I just noticed it. Does anyone know what is wrong?

EDIT: BTW I have windows 98 SE, just in case.

If you knew this problem occurred in the last five days you could also try from a Start|ShutDown|Restart in DOS-MODE|type scanreg /restore|OK|pick a date|OK|Wait|Reboot.

    benkeith,

It started when you installed or upgraded your Nvidia drivers using version 56.64 (56.64_win9x_english.exe). That Nvidia driver version has caused problems for alot of Window 98 users because it corrupts shdocvw.dll

To correct the problem, do a repair of Internet Explorer.
*IMPORTANT* (Do a Ctrl, Alt, Dlt and end ALL tasks except Explorer and Systray)
    1) Go to Add/Remove in Control Panel.
    2) Select Internet Explorer and click the 'Remove' button.
    3) On the following window, select 'Repair'.
    4) Reboot your computer after the repair has finish

    Hope that helps,
