Kazza Lite

I have also been looking for Kazza Lite and it seems that you have to pay for this program.

Is there a free version of this as apparently it's supposed to be safer than the regular Kazza.

The two above posts are well given recommendations to opt for using WinMX instead of Kazaa Lite, for a very good reason. Kazaa lite is a cracked Kazaa, and by using it, you are telling the creators/distributors/supporters of Kazaa, that their program is desireable regardless of what comes with it, giving them reason to continue distributing it as is, rather than cleaning it up and offering it's users a bit of security/privacy. It also sends a message that it is OK to crack other companies programs. By using an alternative, which is just as good, they are being sent a message to clean it up, or lose their audience, which is something that needs to be done by more users, in hopes of slowing down the spyware/malware/adware invasion.

Sounds like a noble concept here, however a reality check tells me it will be about as successful and the efforts to eliminate spam.

A Google search returns many sites to download kazaalite for free, figuring out which one is free of viruses and trojans is not so easy.
