I'll go into the Logitech set point screen to set the mouse for left handed use but it won't let me. On the right side of the screen it says Windows mouse buttons are set backwards. is there a way to make this thing left handed or do I have to use the windows configuration. So far the thing works great.

    Hmmmm!! **getting jealous**

I had posted in another post that the MX1000 is my next mouse purchase. Did you have an optical mouse before if so how does the laser compare to the optical?

Yes, I had MS Intellipoint 4.0 which died yesterday. My wife surprised me with my birthday(which is Monday) gift early and lo and behold it's the MX1000 so far its awesome. No more mouse wire getting caught up in the KB draw. It's going to take a little time to get used to it because its reaction to movement is so quick. It is everything the ads says it is, so far.

    Thanks,

Hmmm...I'm beginning to think waiting isn't an option anymore.
