Exchange out of office assistant misbehaving

I have a pretty unique problem here. A user is complaining that her out of office assistant is turning itself on without her knowledege.
I am fairly certain that this is user error but before I make a complete fool of myself, has anyone ever heard of anything like this?

 

I've heard of it being disabled but not where it turns itself on.

Do you have any COM addins? or any other kind of addin that may have some affect on it?

We have a Spam filter addin that doesn't play well with the Out of Office Assistant and they both end up being disabled with the OOA still active so I have to enable the OOA and turn it off then enable the Spam filter.

Anything is possible so I wouldn't count it out as user error until you do some investigation.
