    If anyone care.
I finally solved a problem which I had with Firefox1.0rc. It was opening unrequested pages, especially on closing. I had heard of a Tabbrowser extention, which I did not have. So, I thought that, what if having saved Tabs may be a problem? This is certainly true. No tabs can be saved in 1.0rc, unless you don't mind closing various pages. This is a bug which did not exist before.

    Westside,

Do you mean that you can't save a group of Tabs in Firefox 1.0 PR? I have a group of tabs which I have saved. I have edited them a couple of times, saved them, and they are there when I log into Firefox.

I did not mean that a group of tabs could not be saved. My post did not provide enough information. I should edit it, but anyway I state the source of the problem. The 1.0 profile imported the bookmarks of 1.7.3. I saved all the Tabs as a bookmark, in 1.7.3. In a few cases, I had to double click on the bookmark to bring them up, then I can check if the group is saved or not. 1.7.x tended to forget that it had Tabs. This never happened anywhere else.
Since my original post I found out that if removed all Tabs, and then added them back one at a times, and saved them , I was ok.
My original post was much shorter than I had originally intended. When I was looking for some additional information, even using a different tab, I found that my original unposted message had disappeared. Won't happen this time!
I hope I made myself clear.
