I've installed adobe 6.0 reader on a Windows 2000 Pro Pc with SP4.
I'm using Nestcape as my email pgm.
When I get an .pdf attachement, I click on the file and it starts to load adobe then a white adobe screen appears and nothing happens.
I've also tried to open a saved .pdf file on my desktop and same thing.

Once in a while I get the following error:
could not find acrobat external window handler plugin.

    any ideas.
    thanks.

    Hi w.young...

If this was my problem I would uninstall Adobe via Add/Remove Program, reboot computer, download program again, and re-install software. Did you download 6.0 from Adobe or from somewhere else?

I have Adobe Reader 6.0.1 and the install exe file size is 16,315 kb.

You could also download an older version of Adobe Reader from => http://www.oldversion.com/program.php?n=acrobat
