Restoring deleted trash

    Is there a way to restore an email that has been deleted after the trash has been emptied?

    Deleted, not emptied

    Actually, the email was deleted from the trash folder--the folder was not emptied.

    If you did not close Mail, you can just move it back.
    Only compacting the folder will remove the mail from the Trash folder. Otherwise, see this
