cannot retrieve email

    Although it shows I have 8 messages when I click on "get msgs" it just keeps on searching and does not download them. I use the Netscape mail function but subscribe to Optimum Online.Any help?

    Hi James,

    Are you trying to retrieve the Optimum Online webmail through the Netscape Mail & Newsgroups component? Do you have POP3 accounts also?

    Give us as much information as posssible so we can give you the maximum help.

    There was a rather long thread at another newsgroup here. And, I don't know if it applies to you in any way with Optimum Online. Are you set up in Outlook Express? You should be able to use the same settings in Netscape.
