I've been using DSL at home for some time now. I have not configured my connection using using my ISP's software. I have only plugged into a router and launched a browse.

So here's my question. - it seems that I could configure my internet access to use PPPoE. I don't really know what this is or if I should be using it. Can someone shed some light on this murky subject.

I have a small network in my home - about 4 or 5 PCs that can go online. Should I be using this PPPoE?

PPOE is an authentication process that some DSL providers use to make sure your supposed to be using their service.
If it works without it you dont need it! :p
