StyleXP won't let me resize my taskbar

I applied a theme called Nitelite with StyleXP. Now my taskbar is very low so that only the time is showing. I want to resize it to show the date and weekday by dragging it up, but when I hold my mouse over it, the double arrows don't appear. Is this a result of the theme, or is something wrong?

 

If you use the theme that came with StyleXP what does it do? Does that theme have an msstyle in it? Try one of these http://www.lightstar1.com/ they are selfextracting. Some themes take a little work to get them correct. They don't install in the theme folder so they have to be extracted there. I found some hanging in the resources part and have to be in themes folder. Some themes are really lacking in good instructions.

 

The themes that came with StyleXP let me increase the size of my task bar. All the themes I downloaded had a .MSSTYLES file with them. I don't like the self-extracting ones. Risk of viruses, you know.

 

So your theme it has a bug. You take chances with anything you download. He posts all his themes at Theme XP. I've never had a problem with them and I have used them for years. Actually I prefer his because I can use them and I have my own wallpapers so I don't use the ones that come with.

 

When you say he, do you mean the program's creator? I was hoping to find some themes that have different minimize, maximize and close buttons. I've seen some themes where they're like little squares or triangles.

 

Neowin is great for finding themes. I've downloaded tons from there. http://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php? there it lots of feedback and most of the themers have their own sites. If you have some time it is a good place to find them.
