I connected to one new PC WinXP+SP1 a Canon LBP 1120, made it shared, then tried to print from another XP PC - Ethernet + hub -. It worked well. But every time I switch off the leader PC and reboot it my printer is no longer shared. The message I get is : "For safety reasons, Windows switched off the sharing of this printer ". I then have to re-do the sharing process.
How could I fix that ? I seem to have tried everything ...
    Many thanks for the help.

    Interesting - and unusual.

Check the event logs on the PC that displays that message for events that look related. If you find one/some, open the event, click on the icon below the up/down arrows (sends a text copy to your clipboard) and paste it in a reply here.

Which PC displays the message and exactly when?
