Is Firefox Password manager working correctly.

I cannot get it to display passwords.

I had previously thought it was displaying only newly inherited passwords, and not those inherited from Mozilla. As far as I can see it will display none.

It has, however, inherited the general password to open the password manager, and I can see no way to manage that funtion.

    Labarum,

Password Manager is working here. Have you checked the signons.txt file, in your Profile, to see if the passwords are actually in the file?

If the file is corrupt, you may have to delete, or rename the file, and start from scratch with your passwords.

    mmm

Found no signons.txt but the usual random.s file - renamed it - saved a new password, and now have a new random.s file with the same number - and now the newly entered password does show.

The masterpassword inherited from Mozilla is still active.
