    What's your budget?

I'm not sure how much money you can put into this but both McAfee and Symantec have perimeter devices that scan all incoming emails. And with our appliance (Webshield E250) you can set rules based on words, spam blacklists, email addresses or pretty much anything you want. Plus you can add their anti-spam program to it which lessens the admin overhead. And I personally have seen it handle 1-2000 emails a day with no problem. I think the device costs around $5000 and licenses are per node.

Another option is that if you have anyone fluent in Linux, I've heard that Spam Assasin is the best anti-spam program around. The downside to it is that I've heard it's hard to configure. But when you get it going you're on Easy Street.

    Hope this helps.
